A large new film set has been seen growing larger in the backlot of Warner Bros Studios in Leavesden.

A Huge Inflatable Air Wall was put up two weeks ago which could be seen by drivers going near the Hunton Bridge roundabout.

Huge Blue Screen material has now gone. Instead Green shipping containers which blend more to the environment.

This weekend a super sized blue screen was put up to replace the giant inflatable air walls, and behind it is the Game of Thrones prequel ‘The House of The Dragon‘  Castle Film Set

Emma D’Arcy (Truthseekers, Wanderlust) will star as Viserys' daughter, Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen and Cooke (Sound of Metal) and Rhys Ifans (Nottinghill) will play daughter-father duo Alicent Hightower and Otto Hightower.

The story of the House Targaryen set 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones.  HBO programming president Casey Bloys estimated that the ten Episode series will be aired in 2022.

So now the view is easier on the eye and hopefully better for local wildlife.

In July when lockdown ended, a castle was spotted.

Previously a patchwork of shipping containers and giant black and white Inflatables, which some on social media described as an eyesore.  Since this article the whole lot was replaced with green shipping containers.

Whilst others point out there has been cash injections to support local projects like the Leavesden Park, with historical tributes to the former Aerodrome which was owned by Rolls Royce in 1967, and originally owned by the Ministry of Defence and used during World War II for the manufacture of Mosquito Fighter and Halifax Bomber aircraft.
